Well this is the only thing stopping my motor from going in. It seems whoever replaced this used a non-oem rear main seal which crumbled. Now the piece that hugs into the bracket is fused into it. Any ideas how to pry/scrape it out? I can scrape off the outer portion but the piece on the inside will be trouble.
Oh and just for clarification is the rear oil pan seal only supposed to have rtv on the two ends?
